Electronic controller, with adjustable sensitivity, power (STEP) and brake.

Toggle switches and knobs have been removed from the black box to make selection easier and to avoid accidental selector move.

BRAKE:

Adjustable with wire potentiometer 10 ohm 5 watt Art. 01002.

By moving the brake knob towards 0 (ZERO) you will have less brake.

By moving the brake knob towards 13 (THIRTEEN) you will have more brake.

STEP:

it lowers the motor power.

By moving the knob towards 0 (ZERO) you will have less power.

By moving the knob towards 13 (THIRTEEN) you will have more power.

START:

it adjusts the start of the motor the sensibility being equal.

By moving the knob towards 0 (ZERO) you will have less timing advance (or more delay)

By moving the knob towards 13 (THIRTEEN) you will have more timing advance (or less delay)

SENSIBILTY:

It adjusts the motor power supply.

Adjustable with potentiometer and selector.

The selector divides in two the potentiometer action, to prevent slight potentiometer moves from causing great driving changes. 

With selector on 0-5 Ohm the supply will be slower, by pushing the trigger the slot car is less reactive.

With selector on 5-10 Ohm the supply will be faster, by pushing the trigger the slot car is more reactive.

In both selector positions, if the potentiometer is on 0 (ZERO) the slot car will be less fast than in position 13 (THIRTEEN).

With selector on 0-5 Ohm and potentiometer on 13 (THIRTEEN) you will have “about” the same power supply as with selector on 5-10 Ohm and potentiometer on 0 (ZERO).

A short description of the STEP and SENSITIVITY:

STEP: lowers the engine power of the car while pushing the trigger.

In this way we can decide where we want the maximum power along the trigger stroke.

When you find the correct driving position, this will allow great fluency without skidding while going around a bend with the maximum engine power, in order to speed up more quickly when the straight stretch begins.

The proper regulation of STEP is when the car drives smoothly and does not skid while going around a bend and along miscellaneous stretches.

SENSITIVITY is the reaction of the car to the trigger pushing, adjust it so that the car is neither too slow nor too fast while you push the trigger.

START: it makes the start of the motor more or less reactive according to your needs.

VERY IMPORTANT: with this button THINK AS IF YOU WERE DRIVING SLOWLY, drawing the bend without skidding, press the trigger as quickly as possible when the car is straight in a straight lane.

If you can do this, which is very simple, almost boring, you will reach better average times, fewer errors and, as a consequence, better results.
